NSTI Indore

The Institute was set up in 1992. Initially it was operating from I.T.I., Nanda Nagar, Indore, the temporary accommodation given by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh. But, it is now shifted to its own building at Sukhliya Main Road, Nanda Nagar, Indore – 452 011.

The program attempts to promote the women employment in industry (mainly organized sector) as semi-skilled/skilled & highly skilled workers by increasing their participation in skill training facilities under craftsmen training scheme and craft instructors training scheme.

The aim and objective of the institute are planning, designing, executing and pursuing long-term policies for vocational training of women in areas having wage/self-employability; thereby increasing women’s participation in economic & social development of the country; drawing plans and schemes for promoting participation of women in vocational training; identification of vocational skill training areas and sensitizing social environment through publicity campaigns.

Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) : This Institute has been allotted to train these following trades under CTS.

1. Architecture Draughtsmanship, 2. Basic Cosmetology, 3. Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), 4. Dress Making, 5. Secretarial Practice (English), 6. Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (Hindi) and 7. IoT Technician (Smart City)
Crafts Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) : This Institute has been allotted to train these following trades under CITS
1. Dress Making, 2. Fashion Designing Technology and 3. Computer Software Application

Advanced Technical Diploma (IBM) : This Institute has been allotted for conducting Advanced Technical Diploma in IT, Networking and Cloud in collaboration with IBM India Ltd.
